Catherine Abrams at catherineabrams80@gmail.com, Instagram: Catherine Abrams 88 METROPOLITAN MUSEUM EXHIBIT Chroma:  Ancient Sculpture in Color   This exhibit was exceptionally interesting for me since all my life I have seen the original Ancient Greek sculptures without color. Αυτη η εκθεση ηταν πολυ ενδιαφερουσα για μενα μια και παντα εβλεπα τα εκθεματα χωρις χρωμα.  Καπως ετσι¨ The scholarship and the presentation was carefully done but the visual results were lacking.  Maybe the major draw back was that the paint pigments used were too high gloss.   Casein base colors could have been closer to the original. Αυτα εινα μερικα δειγματα απο την εκθεση.  Αν και η μελετη και η παρουσιαση των εκθεματων ειναι προσεγμενη τα αποτελεσματα δεν ηταν πειστικα.  Οι χρωστικες ουσιες στα αγαλματα θα εφερναν καλυτερα αποτελεσματα αν ηταν απο κασεηνη.
