Γεια σας,

Αυτην την εβδομαδα η Σαρον Σπρανκγ ειχε ατομικη εκθεση Passionate Jungles στην Gallery Henoch.  Ενα απο τα πορτραιτα ειναι της Μισελ Ομπαμα και θα παει στον Λεuκο Οικο.

Sharron Sprung,one of the instructors at the Art Students League, has a solo show at the Henoch Gallery.  Among the works was the portrait of Michelle Obama that was commissioned for the White House.

Στην Pace Gallery εχει ο Lozano Hemmer μια μεγαλη  installation "Pulse Topology". 3000 λαμπες κρεμασμενες απο το ταβανι αντιχουν το παλμο της καρδιας του καθε θεατη/επισκεπτη.

Pace Gallery had an installation by Lozano Hemmer, "Pulse Topology".  3000 light bulbs were hanging from the ceiling and echoed the sound of the heart beat of the viewer as he/she approached the installation.

Επισης o Antoni Tapies παρουσιαζει "Transmaterial", μεγαλα εργα μεταξι ξωγραφικης και κολλαζ.

Στην Galerie Lelong & Co  εκθετει η Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum με εργα πανω σε πεπιεσμενο ξυλο.


At the Galerie Lelong & Co there is a solo show by Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum.
The work is made of thin layers of oil paint on plywood.

Η καλλιτεχνης χρησιμοποιει μπρουντζο με πατινα για αυτα τα αγαλματα που ειναι σε φυσικο μεγεθος,  σαν να ηταν ζωντανα.  Πολλα  εκμαγεια συνδεονται για το τελειοτικο εργο. Η πατινα κανει τα αλογα να μοιαζουν σαν να ειναι καμωμενα απο ξυλα αποβρασμενα απο την θαλασσα.
